Google Classroom 101 FILLING

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity filling up

This is an introduction to incorporating Google Classroom into your instruction. Learn how to create and send assignments to your students to complete online.

Have you wondered what Google Classroom looks like? This session will give you an overview and How To directions. We are using it at the elementary level mostly, but it could be used for older students. If your district has Google Apps for Education, Google Classroom should be an option for you. If you are already using Google Docs or are thinking about it, this makes sharing them with students much easier.

I was an elementary classroom teacher for 11 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Education from Ball State University. I also hold a Building Level Administrator's license and am currently Assistant to the Principal at Meadow's Edge Elementary School. I enjoy finding innovative ways to implement technology into instruction. I attempt to use technology to make instruction better, not just easier.

Instructional Technology Coordinator, Penn-Harris-Madison Sch Corp
Beth has been an educator in PHM for over 35 years, starting in the elementary classroom grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 over the years; then graduating to the Technology Department thanks to a 1-year grant. That happened 20 years ago! Now she is the Instructional Technology Coordinator for the district and enjoys working with both staff and students to learn to use technology in many ways. If she doesn't know the answer, she knows how to find it.
